Captain - Giannis Korros
Upon receiving his Captain’s diploma in 2011 from the Merchant Marine Academy, Captain Giannis then embarked upon his career in the Hellenic Navy. After this he then quickly advanced on to merchant ships.
His career began on passenger ships before his love of hospitality then drew him to the world of luxury yachting. He now holds an impressive track record on board well-known motor yachts such as Galileo, Turama, Tueq, Libertas, Aspire, Mystic, Karma, Mobius, and now of course the wonderful Koukles.
An experienced yacht captain, specialising in charters of Greece, he has an incredible knowledge of all of the Greek Islands and knows the Aegean and Ionian seas like the back of his hand. Rest assured guests will get to experience the region’s finest secluded anchorages and bays with Giannis at the helm, accompanied by an exceptional
standard of service.
Chef - Konstantinos Kamanas
Born in Piraeus, chef Konstantinos has been a chef at sea for the last eight years and is the reason Koukles’ guests never want to dine ashore.
He began his culinary career many years ago catering for large companies, before then owning his own restaurant in Piraeus. Alongside his native language of Greek, he also speaks English and French.
He produces truly exceptional and varied menus, including speciality dishes such as sushi with the Aegean’s finest fish, and the most delicious vegan and vegetarian food you will ever experience. Rest assured any other dietary requirements will be met with enthusiasm, as he loves and prides himself on creating bespoke menus you will look forward to every day.
Chief Engineer - Charalampos Lampiris
Charalampos Lampiris is a seasoned Chief Engineer with a rich background in both maritime and automotive engineering. With a career spanning over a decade, he has navigated through various roles, from serving as a 3rd engineer to Chief Engineer on Koukles today.
Born into a family of seafarers, Charalampos inherited a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for engineering. His journey has seen him acquire a diverse set of skills and certifications, including Chief Engineer certification, Ro-Ro Passenger, Tanker Safety, and Ship Security Officer.
His career is a testament to his quick and efficient problem-solving abilities, honed through years of experience in handling both routine operations and emergency situations. In his spare time he loves reading, travelling and repairing computers.
Bosun - Dimitris Mitsis
Born in Ioannina in 1972, Dimitris is an experienced bosun, committed to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of passengers while at sea. He carries out all of his duties with a smile, and assists with the maintenance of Koukles as required.
He has a deep respect for the ocean, having worked at sea for more than two decades, mostly on merchant ships, vessels and luxury yachts, previously working on board motor yachts; Dream B, Panorama and Mobius.
A pleasure to work with, with a great wealth of knowledge, Dimitris is great addition to the crew on board Koukles, and will always go above and beyond to ensure guests have a brilliant experience during charters.
Chief Stewardess - Eleni Mintza
Eleni Mintza brings a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set to her role as Chief Stewardess on board Koukles. With a background spanning from luxury yachts to commercial vessels, Eleni has established herself as a versatile and capable stewardess.
Her experience includes positions on prestigious yachts such as M/Y Rini, M/Y Aquila, and S/Y Almyra II, where she served as a stewardess, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of guests.
Beyond her maritime career, Eleni has pursued interests in interior design, handmade jewellery, marketing. Her educational background includes a certificate in advertising from the Public Vocational Training Institute, where she studied marketing, statistics, market research, consumer behaviour, management, public relations, and creative department techniques.
Eleni's diverse background, coupled with her passion for hospitality and commitment to excellence, make her a valuable asset to the crew onboard on Koukles.
2nd Stewardess - Alexia Falla
Alexia Falla is a versatile professional with a diverse background spanning various industries. Armed with a Bartending Seminar Level 1 from Bar Academy in Athens, she began her journey in the service industry, honing her skills in bartending and customer service at esteemed establishments like Don't Tell Mama, Ela Na Sou Po, Klouvi, and Seychelles.
After her creative side lef her to a career in the performing arts, she then transitioned into the culinary world, Alexia took on the role of Assistant Pastry Chef at Sani Resort in Chalkidiki, where she mastered the art of preparing and decorating pastries, delighting guests with her culinary creations.
Her journey then led her to the maritime industry, where she served as a stewardess on yachts such as Maid Marian 2 and Kleio, ensuring guests received impeccable service and hospitality during their voyages.
With a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, Alexia continues to carve her path, leveraging her diverse experiences to excel in every endeavor she pursues.
