Captain - Ashley Oberholzer
Captain Ashley is British born but raised in France on his parents 20m Charter yacht "Champagne Charlie" 13 years running on the Riviera coast. Ashley himself has now accumulated significant yachting experience after his career debut in 2008. From Deckhand through Engineer and there on into the Captains seat. Ashley has worked on boats ranging from 20 to 60m covering most of the Mediterranean Sea. Expert watersports instructor and avid explorer.
Ashley started on Lady Amanda in 2018 and has continually added improvements to the vessel. From the extensive list of water toys to the interior wrapping and new flooring, brand new appliances in the galley, laundry and engine room as well as working items such as the crane and winches with last years added entertainment system upgrade connecting the new Starlink internet system to its wifi and apple tv set up makes her upgrades level with the current vessels systems.
Ashley has achieved end of 2025 an impressive 100’ successful charters in 7 years milestone with Lady Amanda. The next challenge he set himself will be 150 successful charters in 10 years.
His Crew are his family and the sea is his home.
"The safety and training of this Vessel and Crew are only matched by the amount of Fun and Games offered to the guest on-board."
DECKHAND - Matt Miles
Matt is our new onboard Deck/Engineer and Water sports specialist.
Matt was born in South Africa and immediately got engrossed in the ocean lifestyle surrounding the area such as Surfing, fishing, scuba diving. Adding his bright positive personality made him the ideal addition to the 2026s Lady Amanda Charter team.
Matt started his yachting path in 2025 being lead Deck on a 35meter Private Yacht sailing all the hotspots around the Med. He also managed the 12m Chase boat that boasted 2x350HP engines and had all the classic watersports activities attached.
He is looking forward to bringing his expertise and energy to the table or in his native language:

CHEF - Sarah-Jane Skaife
Born in Yorkshire, Chef Sarah-Jane discovered her passion for food early while working in her family’s restaurant. From kitchen prep to front-of-house service, she developed a strong foundation in hospitality, flavour, and guest experience, alongside a dedicated work ethic and dynamic personality.
In 2024, she entered the yachting industry as Sole Stewardess aboard a 28m private/charter Sunseeker. While managing all interior responsibilities to a high standard, she became known for her creativity in the galley, producing beautifully presented, flavour-driven dishes that earned praise from both Captain and guests.
Sarah-Jane was recommended by our own 2025 Chef after seeing her capabilities during the final charters of 2025. It just so happens that S-j and our Chief Stew Alice are best friends.
Captain Ashley saw a great opportunity to have an excellent friendly supportive Stews/Chef Team with 5 Year combined experience onboard Lady Amanda.
Making sure the service onboard is incomparable to any Yacht of its size or more.
“Bon Appetit.”
CHIEF STEW - Alice Symington
Alice is Lady Amanda’s retuning Chief stew.
Born and raised in England, Alice entered the working life early minding children at first
before moving into hospice care for the elderly. Her patience and caring nature have helped make a seamless transition into the service industry.
Alice initially worked as a chalet operative in 2023, providing a similar level of service and professionalism found in Yachting.
During her time in Val D’Isère ski resort, Alice was in charge of managing all continental
breakfast set ups as well as light healthy cooked brunches, daily cleaning and refreshments of cabins at multiple properties.
Alice led the charge last year and cleared a successful 18-week back-to-back charters in 2024 and 16 weeks in 2025 including “The Film Festival” and the “Cannes Boat show” expanding her experience in every domain always leaving guests content and well taken care of.
Her bubbly personality and hardworking ethics made her the perfect interior lead for Lady Amanda’s 2026 charter team which she hand selected and trained.
“Service with a smile ”

After acquiring the right sum for her planned 5-month trip she ended up staying 21 months away as she reached Indonesia and secured herself a job as a PADI Dive Master and Instructor after passing all her PADI modules in Indonesia to continue working in the area.
After her time abroad was coming to an end, Jessica met a First officer friend of hers who noticed her budding capabilities and though she would be a good fit in the industry.
Jess went home and once again completed all of the required training to be a certified Yachtsman and came to Antibes early May 2026 to find a job.
Being a Family friend to Alice our on-board Chief Stew meant that in addition to her visible competency and perfect track record on the way to becoming a successful “Yachty” She was the perfect choice for our Second Stew position onboard M/Y Lady Amanda’s 2026 Charter Team.
