Originally from Poland, Mat has sailed extensively throughout the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Pacific, Arctic, and Antarctic, specializing in luxury charters, offshore passages, and yacht deliveries. His calm leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to safety allow guests to fully relax while exploring the beautiful waters of the British Virgin Islands.

An avid diver and adventurer, Mat enjoys sharing hidden anchorages, crystal-clear snorkeling spots, and unforgettable island experiences with his guests. His friendly, approachable nature and attention to detail ensure that every charter is tailored to create lasting memories.

Chef & First Mate Dev Barnard

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Dev Barnard combines exceptional hospitality with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. As both Chef and First Mate, she plays an integral role in ensuring every charter aboard Elation is welcoming, seamless, and personalized.

Dev enjoys preparing fresh, beautifully presented meals inspired by international cuisine, tailoring each menu to her guests' tastes and dietary preferences. Whether serving a relaxed breakfast on deck, sunset canapés, or an elegant dinner under the stars, she takes pride in making every meal a highlight of the journey.

With experience in luxury charter operations, guest service, and deck work, Dev brings warmth, professionalism, and attention to every detail, helping guests feel at home from the moment they step aboard.
