Sail and Work Experience
Xavier brings over three decades of maritime experience, both at sea and in shipyards. Beginning his career as a naval officer in the French Navy, he later transitioned into naval architecture and engineering. His entry into yachting was marked by his involvement in the refit of the 1921 steam yacht DELPHINE. Since 2002, he has been closely involved with the classic yacht TRINAKRIA, managing its full refit as project manager and engineer. He subsequently earned his Master’s qualification to take command of the vessel, remaining in service to the owner as captain.

He ensures compliance with maritime laws and safety protocols, while managing the technical and operational aspects of the yacht. His leadership ensures the smooth running of TRINAKRIA and a high standard of service for all onboard.
