CAPTAIN : Ünsal Kobal
• My name is Ünsal Kobal, born in Giresun in 1995. I hold both high
school and university degrees in maritime studies and have been in
the yachting industry for over 11 years— 7 of those as a captain.
Including my education, I have 17 years of maritime background.
• Throughout my career, I’ve captained various motor yachts
including M/Y POINT (Absolute 53), M/Y KATTY (Maiora 70), M/Y
ALLEGRIA (Mangusta 72), and M/Y KNG (Ferretti 72). I hold licenses
up to 3000 GRT as a limited watchkeeping officer.
• Outside of work, I’m passionate about swimming, cooking, and
freediving. I come from a family with a 70-year history in the
restaurant business, which has given me a strong appreciation for
food. While I do smoke, I’m always discreet and respectful of guest
comfort.
Deckhand : Arda Kaan Erdogan
• My name is Arda Kaan Erdoğan, born in 2003 in Istanbul.
I’m a graduate of Kocaeli University Faculty of Maritime
and have 4 years of experience in the industry. During my
studies, I spent my summers working on passenger
vessels such as M/S ŞH-KADIKÖY, M/S ŞH-BEŞİKTAŞ, and
PAŞABAHÇE, gaining hands-on experience on board.
• I hold a Seaman’s Book along with certifications in Basic
Agency Training and Yacht Charter & Brokerage. I’m a
team player with strong communication and time
management skills, and I always aim to grow
professionally in this field. Passionate about the sea, I
enjoy music, watersports, and cinema in my free time. I
don’t smoke and I’m comfortable working around pets.
