Hailing from the port city of Piraeus, Greece, Sotiris has always felt a strong connection to the sea and the vibrant culinary culture that surrounds it.
Graduating with honours from the prestigious Le Monde Culinary School in Athens, Sotiris quickly carved out a name for himself in Greece’s fine dining scene. His career includes time at Ovio Italian Restaurant in Athens, recognised by the Michelin Guide. where he honed his skills in refined Italian cuisine and modern culinary techniques.
With over a decade of experience in high-end restaurants, luxury hotels, and private yachts, including the Emotion 2, he brings a refined yet soulful touch to every plate. His diverse background spans Mediterranean, Italian, and Japanese-Asian fusion cuisines, with expertise in gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
As Head Chef aboard M/Y Vesta, Sotiris creates bespoke menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and global flavours. Whether it’s crafting elegant seafood dishes or rustic Italian classics, his goal is always the same: to provide guests with unforgettable dining experiences.
