Having commanded prestigious yachts such as M/Y ENCHANTMENT, M/Y HOKULANI, along with a C/O position on M/Y MAGNA GRECIA, Captain Leonidas is known for his strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and deep understanding of guest expectations. His ability to manage busy charter schedules while maintaining seamless operations makes him a valuable asset to any charter experience. Fluent in English, Captain Leonidas is passionate about creating unforgettable journeys for guests. Chef - Vassilis Sikalias

Chef Vassilis is the creative force behind the exceptional cuisine on board VOLO MARE, bringing over 20 years of experience across fine restaurants, boutique hotels, and high-end charter yachts. His culinary journey began with studies at the Le Monde Institute of Tourism and Culinary Studies in Athens, followed by advanced training in pastry and classical French cuisine—including two formative stages at the Michelin two-starred Spondi restaurant. Vassilis’s land-based career includes leading roles in renowned restaurants such as Zepos in Chania and the award-winning 25araki seafood restaurant in Glyfada, which he later co-owned. His menus have earned acclaim for their sophistication, freshness, and deep respect for Greek culinary heritage. In recent years, he has brought his expertise to the yachting world, working as chef aboard charter yachts including Seahorse, Persefoni, and Barents Sea, where he further refined his skills in creating bespoke dining experiences at sea. Specializing in Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on fresh seafood, Chef Vassilis draws inspiration from the richness of Greece’s natural bounty, often incorporating seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Fluent in English and known for his warm, approachable personality, he is dedicated to crafting unforgettable culinary moments for guests. Chief Stewardess - Eva Kazantzoglou

Greek-born in 1986 and raised in Athens, Eva brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality and yachting industry to her role as Chief Stewardess aboard VOLO MARE. With a background in Optics and Optometry, she soon discovered her passion for service and life at sea. Having led interior teams on prestigious charter yachts such as ALEXANDRA, PARVATI, FOUR JOYS, and MAESTRO, Eva is known for her meticulous attention to detail, calm professionalism, and warm, welcoming demeanor.
Holding G.U.E.S.T. Levels 1 & 2 certifications, along with proficiency in both English and French, Eva combines formal service training with a natural sense of hospitality. Her dedication to excellence and her genuine enthusiasm for guest satisfaction ensure every charter experience aboard VOLO MARE is seamless, elegant, and memorable.

Chief Engineer - Evangelos Charaklanis

Evangelos brings over a decade of engineering experience across tankers, container ships, and motor yachts to his role as Chief Engineer aboard Volo Mare. Holding a Marine Engineer Class B’ license, he has served in progressive engineering roles, including 2nd and 3rd engineer on large commercial vessels before stepping into the Chief Engineer role on yachts such as M/Y HALCYON and M/Y AELIA. Evangelos combines strong technical acumen in engine room operations, electrical installations, welding, and high-voltage systems with calm, solutions-focused leadership. His training spans risk assessment, shipboard safety, firefighting, and advanced tanker safety, making him a reliable and knowledgeable figure on board. A natural team player with a disciplined naval background, Evangelos ensures Volo Mare runs with precision and safety at its core.

Bosun - Vassilis Papadam

Vasilis is a dedicated and experienced Bosun with a strong background in deck operations, vessel maintenance, and safety procedures. Holding an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification, he has worked on the successful charter yacht M/Y Hakuna Matata (37m Couach) as well as M/Y Giorgia (38m Benetti), and the M/Y Royal Romance (93m Feadship). With excellent leadership and teamwork skills, Vasilis ensures smooth deck operations while maintaining a safe and efficient environment on board. Fluent in English, he is committed to delivering top-tier service and contributing to an exceptional guest experience on M/Y VOLO MARE.

Stewardess - Rusiel Adupe
Philippino
Rusiel is an experienced yacht stewardess with a strong background in hospitality and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. With over a decade in the yachting industry, she has worked on both private and charter yachts, excelling in food and beverage service, interior management, event hosting, and housekeeping. Holding a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Sta. Isabel in the Philippines, Rusiel combines her expertise with professional certifications, including STCW 2010, Ship Board Food Handling, and ENG Medical. She is also skilled in silver service, bartending, provisioning, and concierge services. As the Second Stewardess aboard M/Y VOLO MARE, Rusiel is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Stewardess - Natalia Panarielou

Natalia is a warm and enthusiastic stewardess who brings a positive attitude and a strong service mindset to every charter. She has experience working on both sailing and catamaran yachts in Greece, including S/Y Baracuda Valletta (50m) and Valium 52, where she developed excellent skills in guest service, teamwork, and day-to-day yacht operations. Calm under pressure and naturally organised, Natalia enjoys looking after guests and making sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for throughout their time on board. Her background in luxury retail and management shows in her attention to detail and friendly, professional approach.


Deckhand - Labros Zois

Born in 1991, Labros brings positive energy, professionalism, and a strong sense of teamwork to life on board Volo Mare. With hands-on experience in charters across Santorini and Athens, he takes pride in maintaining the yacht to the highest standards while ensuring guests feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. From assisting with water activities and tender transfers to preparing the deck for unforgettable moments at sea, Labros approaches every task with calmness and friendliness. His maritime certifications, together with ongoing pilot training, reflect his dedication to safety and precision. Fluent in English and conversational in German, Labros enjoys connecting with guests and helping create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere on board.
